Question 1

What services does Roam Networks offer?

Accepted Answer

Four core services under one roof: mobile data SIMs across EE, O2, Vodafone and Three; full-fibre business broadband (FTTP and symmetrical sFTTP) up to 2.5Gbps; cloud VoIP telephony with Cloud Voice and SIP; and business gas & electricity compared across 70+ UK suppliers as a Fidelity Energy partner. Take one or all four on a single monthly bill.

Question 2

What do you need to quote my business energy?

Accepted Answer

Just three things: your recent energy bill (so we compare like-for-like), your Meter Serial Number or MSN found on your bill or meter, and your renewal date — the day your current contract ends. As a Fidelity Energy partner, we then run a single tender across 70+ UK gas and electricity suppliers and bring you the best rates side by side.

Question 3

Is there a minimum number of SIMs I need to order?

Accepted Answer

No. Whether you need one SIM or a thousand, there is no minimum order volume. Start with what you need and scale up anytime.

Question 4

How long are the contracts?

Accepted Answer

Mobile SIMs run on 30-day rolling contracts. Broadband is available on 12, 24 or 36-month terms. Telephony licences are monthly per user.

Question 5

How quickly can I get connected?

Accepted Answer

Mobile SIMs are dispatched for next-day delivery and active straight away. Broadband typically installs within 10-15 working days of a survey. Phone numbers can be ported in 7-10 working days.

Question 6

Which networks do the SIMs connect to?

Accepted Answer

Every Roam SIM connects to EE, O2, Vodafone and Three and automatically switches to whichever has the strongest signal.

Question 7

What broadband speeds are available?

Accepted Answer

Full-fibre FTTP from 40Mbps up to 1.8Gbps, and symmetrical sFTTP (equal upload and download) from 100Mbps up to 2.5Gbps. SOGEA (FTTC) broadband is also available where FTTP has not yet reached.

Question 8

Can I keep my existing phone number?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We support number porting for geographic and 03 numbers, so you keep the numbers your customers already know. Porting typically takes 7-10 working days.

Question 9

Can I use these SIMs for IoT, tracking or CCTV devices?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Our SIMs are widely used for fleet tracking, remote sensors, CCTV, payment terminals and field devices. We also offer custom multi-network IoT SIMs that switch automatically to the strongest signal.

Question 10

Do I get a discount for taking multiple services?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Taking mobile, broadband, telephony and energy together from one partner is where Roam adds the most value — a single bill, a single helpdesk and a bundled discount on top of our already-wholesale-priced rates.

Question 11

How do your prices compare to going direct to a network?

Accepted Answer

Because we buy in volume across all four major networks and multiple broadband providers, our wholesale rates are typically lower than a single business can negotiate direct — and we pass that on with one point of contact and multi-network failover no single network can offer.

Question 12

What happens if one network has a fault or poor coverage at my site?

Accepted Answer

Our multi-network SIMs automatically fail over to the strongest available signal across EE, O2, Vodafone and Three, so a single network outage never takes your devices offline. We can also pair a mobile SIM with a broadband line for seamless 4G or 5G backup.
